The NEC Annual Membership Meeting was held in the evening on Tuesday October 27th;
the agenda included Chapter Elections and discussion of 2010 educational program.

The NEC Board of Directors created an ad hoc NEC'09 Committe for the purpose of planning, organizing and delivering this event. The NEC's Connecticut Representative, Steve Trinkaus (PE, CPESC, CPSWQ), is serving as chair of the NEC'09 committee and is the point of contact if you have questions about the PROGRAM: . The conference format on October 27th & 28th will be similar to past years - presentations & case studies, a "regulatory roundup", full day classes, interactive sessions, a trade show and abundant networking opportunities.
New this year: a panel discussion about professional certification
New this year: attendees will be encouraged to bring plans to discuss with exhibitors
New this year: payment via VISA, MasterCard or Discover credit card will be accepted
and just for folks in CT: information about the new role that the Conservation Districts will play in CT DEP stormwater certification.
As always, the NEC's annual conference will feature the Certification Exam Review Courses for CPESC®, CPSWQ® & CESSWI™. The three Certification Exams will be offered on October 29th. The Reviews are open to aall, but prior approval from EnviroCert International is required to sit for an exam, so submit your applications now.
