The venue for this event is the WYNDHAM PORTLAND AIRPORT HOTEL - very classy, with tasty food, comfortable guest rooms and wonderfully helpful staff. Please note that the hotel is actually in SOUTH Portland, not Portland proper.
The Government Rate is $89 + 7% tax for a double-occupancy room, subject to availability. You must present your official government ID at check-in to keep this rate. NOTE: There are plenty of rooms for the 27th but not as many for the 28th, so book ASAP for the 28th.
The Conference Rate is $119 + 7% tax for double occupancy rooms, subject to availability. You may book rooms at the conference rate by calling the hotel at (207) 775-6161; select "0" for the operator and specify that you want to book a room from the IECA Northeast Chapter Conference block. If you encounter difficulty, ask to speak to Kellie Greenleaf. You can not get this rate through the toll-free reservations center nor on-line; you must call the hotel itself.
NOTE: If you are a government employee with an official ID card, you'll get a better deal booking under the governement rate than the conference rate.
