Don’t just GREENWASH – learn how to DO IT RIGHT!!

The IECA Northeast Chapter invites you to attend our Annual Conference & Trade Exposition on Monday October 27 - Thursday October 30, 2008 at the Wyndham Portland Airport Hotel.  For detailed information, please click on the "Program" tab, above.

The Keynote Address by EPA New England Office Administrator Robert Varney on Monday evening is open to all - dinner is optional.  If you are registering to attend classes or presentations on Tuesday or Wednesday and wish to join us for dinner before Mr. Varney speaks, click on "conference attendee."  If you would like to join us for dinner and hear Mr. Varney speak but are not registering to attend any of the sessions on Tuesday or Wednesday, select the "meeting only" option.  (I know this is confusing but I have not been able to change the text on the form since we decided to make dinner optional - sorry.)

The Registration Fees for Tuesday and Wednesday include access to the Trade Exposition, full breakfast & lunch, breaks and the Reception & Membership Meeting on Tuesday evening (even if you are only registering to attend on Wednesday).  There is no charge for the Reception but we need a count for ordering hors d'oeuvre, so please check off the box if you plan to join us.  Note:  there is a separate fee for each day.

The Presentation program option provides access to two rooms of concurrent sessions being presented on Tuesday & Wednesday, plus the Regulatory Roundup on Tuesday and the interactive mock project session on Wednesday.  The other program options are the Erosion Control class  and Storm Water Quality class on Tuesday and the Site Inspection class on Wednesday.  These classes are OPEN TO ALL, even though they happen to be the certification exam review classes for CPESC (Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control), CPSWQ (Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality) and CESSWI (Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector) - one does not need to be in the certification pipeline to benefit from these classes.

The fee for the Certification Review classes includes the $60 we will pay to EnviroCert International for the cost of the Review workbooks.

Based on survey feedback, the Certification Exams are being offered on Thursday as a “stand alone” event – no meals or concurrent options will be provided.  There is no additional cost for those who register for one of the Reviews on the 28th or 29th; if you are NOT registering for one of the Reviews, the fee to sit for an exam is $25.

You must be pre-approved by EnviroCert International to sit for an Exam; go to
www.envirocertintl.org for more information.

There will be a $20 LATE FEE that must be applied to registration forms submitted after Wednesday october 22, 2008.

If you wish to take a Class/Review or to sit for an Exam, you are strongly encouraged to register on-line rather than walk in, because we need to notify EnviroCert International in advance of how many workbooks and exams we need.

As always, the NEC is offering a SIGNIFICANT discount for government employees (“Gov”).  New this year, the discount for IECA members (“Mem”) will apply to members of the Soil & Water Conservation Society as well.  If you are neither a government employee nor an IECA/SWCS member, please select "Other."

Be sure to check off the best rate that applies for each session you register to attend (Presentations or one of the Certification Review classes).  For your convenience, there is a calculator at the bottom of this page.

Please read the instructions that follow the registration form carefully.  The information you enter will not be retained after you click on "SUBMIT" but a summarized version will appear on the next page and will also be sent to the e-mail address that you enter on the form.

Since the conference is only a few days away, please bring your payment to the venue.  If you submit this online registration on or before Wed Oct 22, you will not be charged a late fee to pay at the door.

Each attendee must fill out a form.  If several people are registering who will pay with one group check, enter the same check number on all the forms.

If you have any questions, please write to
or call Christine Odiaga at (508) 946-2836 (preferably between 3-7 p.m.).
